Shouted is an app that allows you to create your own specials to be purchased by patrons directly from their phone. We call these specials, deals. Deals are made up of one or more drinks. When a customer buys a deal, the drinks can be redeemed by them during opening hours OR they can Shout the drinks they've bought to a friend, instantly.
The process to listing your deals on Shouted is easy. This is covered in the Creating a Deal section below. This guide will also cover:
Imagine you could convert just 5% of your Facebook and Instagram followers into paying customers instantly. Well, Shouted helps you do just that. All you have to do is copy and paste your deal link into Facebook. Customers will then be able to buy drinks directly from their phone, meaning you could be selling booze even while your venue is closed!
Once your deal is live, it will appear on Shouted like this.
Tap the Share button beside Add to Cart to share the deal to your social media platforms. You simply tap Copy Link and paste this right onto your Facebook page. You can also copy this link to common messaging apps like Messenger, WhatsApp, and Viber.
On your post, write a call to action, e.g. "Only 10 of these deals available!"
Your Facebook followers will then be able to tap the post as shown above and PURCHASE! This is gives you a new avenue to drive more people through your doors.
Once a customer has purchased a deal, it will appear in My Drinks on the app.
The customer simply taps Redeem on their phone and chooses the quantity of drinks they’d like to redeem.
Your bar-staff will be presented with this screen.
They simply need to enter the 3-digit pin we’ll send you and voila, the drinks are redeemed. Shouted will transfer the funds for these drinks into your bank account the very next business day!
At the end of every day, we’ll email you a report listing which drinks were redeemed so that you can manage your inventory. You can even see a real time list of redemptions and purchases yourself by logging onto our Vendor Portal. Too easy!
You may have noticed that your venue has its very own Crowd on Shouted. Your Crowd is a group for your patrons to join. Once your customers join your Crowd, we’ll send them a PUSH notification every time you add a drink deal on Shouted! This is a very powerful call to action. To get the most out of Shouted we recommend inviting as many patrons and social media followers as you can to join your Venue Crowd. You can share a crowd to social media just like you would a deal.
You can also create more Crowds for different customer groups. Create a private Crowd for your friends, staff, or even VIPs. There’s a separate group chat for every Crowd you create, so you can communicate with different patrons using different language
Not only does Shouted allow customers to find people near them to connect with, venues can do it too! The power of the People tab lets you see who's near by instantly. Want to entice a customer to your venue? Take a look at their profile, see what they like, and Shout them a drink. Make sure you add a little message..... it's the little things that count 😉
We're not here to gauge you. We only make money when you make a sale. There are absolutely NO other costs. Our normal service fee is 14% of the deal sale price which includes our merchant fee. However, if you decide to claim your venue and run deals before April 2020, we will set the fee to 9% for LIFE!
As an example, if you list a deal on Shouted for $10, which a customer then buys and comes in to redeem, we send you $9.10 ($10 less our 90c) the very next business day. Yep, we pay you DAILY!
